Our Chairman/CEO
Delta Pacific Inc.'s CEO J. Ollie Edmunds, Jr., grew up in Florida and was educated at the universities of Washington and Lee, Stanford, Oxford, Florida, and Duke. He is professor emeritus of orthopaedic surgery, and specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Since Hurricane Katrina, he is Visiting Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the founder and chairman of the Aesculapius Research Group, an academic medical information software research and design group. He also is the chairman of Gualala Redwoods, Inc. in California, Verdie Forest, Inc. in Florida, the Sequoia Foundation, and a member of Abita Springs Timber Company, LLC, in Louisiana. He and his wife Karen, a New Orleans artist, have four children.
Our Chief Financial Officer
CFO Laura Shaw, CPA is the Chief Financial Officer of Delta Pacific, Inc. Laura graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State University in 1975. Her professional background includes public accounting with Arthur Andersen & Co., banking with Bank of New Orleans, and a private accounting practice. Laura is active in several civic and community boards in New Orleans. She is married to an attorney and has two sons.
Our Senior Vice President
Henry Alden is Delta Pacific, Inc.'s Senior Vice President and manages Delta Pacific's California timberland clients from its Gualala, California office with a staff of foresters. He was the SJ Hall Lecturer at the University of California School of Forestry, his alma mater for his masters of forestry degree. Prior to joining Delta Pacific, Inc. Henry held senior forest management positions at other California timber companies. He and his wife Lori, a Ph.D. economist, have two daughters.
